I’m finally back from Animethon (okay that’s a lie. I was back at 8pm on Sunday, but I’ve been busy) So umm…I guess it’s time for a summary of the most notable events of Animethon. Not like anyone besides my friends are gonna read this journal, but I’ll try my best not to forget anything anyways

----- Sasuke Sword T.T -----
Gawd dammit. You know how I made my Kusanagi sword out of wood and aluminum (it was dull though)? Yeah…well, security found me with it within the first 5 minutes of entering the building, and then I was taken to the security office where I had to write my info on some paperz . I was hoping I could get a few pictures with it before it got confiscated, but srsly. There were security peeps lurking around EVERY corner… Not even Sasuke’s ninja skillz were effective against them.

Hm. And then the security guy dropped my sword when he was returning it to me…

----- Smash Bros Tourneys (Yes plural 8D) -----

Friday –
Thankfully, me and my two friends visited the video games room on Friday, even though the schedule didn’t state it was open. There was a team tourney going on, and they decided to be partners, leaving me out. Boo hoo T.T So then this guy volunteered to be my partner, but he replaced himself with another guy after (I think he had to leave?) My friends were Team PokeMarth and we were Team Fire…Yes, in fact I WAS feeling quite creative that day
My partner turned out to be a Link user (I use Wolf), and we won our first round (yay?). But then came the 2nd round… twas ghey. It was at the stage Hanenbow, and my partner and I suicided at least 2 or 3 times each…Gawd I hate that stage…
So obviously, we lost that round =[

Saturday –
Hum. The solo tourney just HAPPENED to be start during the cosplay contest. My friends felt that the cosplay contest was more important, so they left me and the tourney for it. But they came back by the time it was my 2nd match
But then, I lost in the quarter finals (?) to a DK user . I coulda won that match too, if it wasn’t for the fact that he brought his own controller, and mine was a shitty one from the games room. I could barely even do smash attacks >=\ Honestly. My opponent wasn’t exactly too decent…

=0 Not bad. Sucks how both finalists used big, fat, and slow characters. Natural prey for Wolf =[. Easy to combo, large area to hit, can stay out of range of their attacks, can out-speed their attacks any day…k I’ll stop.

My friends got a few comments from the gamers both days cause they cosplayed Marth and Pokemon Trainer on Friday and Sturday lol. I was gonna make a Wolf one, but I didn’t finish in time so I had to stick with my Sasuke for all 3 dayz. Awwz =[

---> Lawl hi =3 . I met her at a-thon through my friend that hung out with me. She was cosplaying Hidan on Sunday, but I don’t know if she cosplayed anyone else. Yeah…sorry for being an emo Sasu-phag all day and not talking much. If I wasn’t, I probably would’ve reacted in some way when you pretended (?) to hit on, molest, and rap-…erm…do stuff to me... As tempting as the HidanSasu pairing is, it would’ve never worked out T^T (lol you had too many other “buddies” you “befriended” anyways)

---> She was cosplaying Naruto. Whenever we passed her, she would do some inappropriate actions with her plastic “kunai”, and afterwards, she started raping her Sasuke plushie lol. Her friend even got it on tape with Hidan (church-13) in it, and me in the background.

----- Cosplay =[? -----

Well this convention was the first one I ever cosplayed at (2nd one ever gone to). And apparantly, I had the great idea of cosplaying the most abused character. EVER. Haha, yes. I among the many Sasuke Uchihas at A-thon.
But I was the only one at a-thon that wore his most recent outfit in the manga and the only one that tied the Sasuke rope “ properly”. 2 loops, 2 rings, 2 ends (actually I’m the only one I’ve EVER seen tie it right… ). Though not as many people recognized my costume, unlike the other time jump Sasukes.

Lawl for example, one of the guys in the video gaming room kept calling Orochimaru >.< When I was registering for the SSBB tourney, he was like “You don’t look like a Betty, you look more like an Orochimaru D:” and “Oh you’re definetly gonna win your match Orochimaru, you haz snakey powerzezez”. I didn’t bother correcting him though…can’t remember why.


-----Randomzz-----

-I got a nosebleed (probably from the heat) on Friday. Lol a few drops of blood got on my costume. Made me look like I was just in a battle

-Otafest was waaay better. More organized, more stuff to do, easier-to-understand convention grounds, non-crappy artist alley system, etc. Plus it just had more of a “homely” feel to it.

-I used “Sauce-kay” as a badge name

-Heard some people whispering about how I was “an adorable Sasuke”… =<

-I have Animal I Have Become, On My Way Down, and the fucking Caramel Dance song stuck in my head. All listened to too much over the span of 3 days.
