As stated in the picture (you looked at it, right ?), heres my Kusanagi that I made for my PTS Sasuke cosplay (the version with the white, short-sleeved shirt). Sad thing is, I learned that they didn't allow wood and/or metal props at Animethon until AFTER i finished making this. So it was confiscated within the first 5 mins i entered the building...

Okay well the "self-made" part is kinda a lie...I had a LITTLE help from my dad...hey, i took part in painting it <.< ....>.>...(jk =[ I did a more than that)

Lol anyways.
-It took about a week to make.
-Most difficult part was sanding the metal part to make it LOOK sharp, but not actually.
-The line in the middle is actually painted darker than the outside, but it doesn't exactly look like that in the picture.

EDIT: Erm. In case it wasn't clear enough. IT ISN'T ACTUALLY SHARP! It may look like it is, but its still dull on the edge =O!

Yeah, a couple months back, i noticed that i accidently missed a TINY part sticking out the side, and ended up writing KU instead. I fixed it before, but i was just too lazy to change it here XP}
