You shoulda gotten a notice thing too but apparantly for a limited time, everyone can use journal skins, not just subscribed peeps.
So ummm...im just making this journal to test it out. Might as well use it while it's available, right? This skin was one i picked up awhile ago when it was subbie exclusive.

One i can think of is:
All the pieces start out full length. What that means is umm...imagine the long metal piece. Now all the wooden pieces should create a complete "box" around it.
Then AFTER gluing the wooden pieces around it (but not ON the metal. just around), you cut off where you want the sheath and the hilt to be separated.
If that makes sense. Its just the easiest way to make it.
